TURKEY

Turkey is a land of vast open spaces, massive mountain
ranges, fertile valleys and rugged coastline, fast-growing
cities and sleepy villages, bustling neon-lit seaside resorts
and unfrequented beaches.
Turkey has rich history since it overflows with historic sites
and archaeological wonders set in a varied and beautiful
landscape. The Mediterranean coastline is punctuated
with well-preserved cities, while Istanbul, still very much
the most popular destination of the nation, has even more
to offer, with Ottoman mosques and palaces, Roman
aqueducts and Byzantine landmarks.
Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city, the former capital of both
the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires, and the only major
city in the world to straddle two continents But however
deep its past, Turkey is a dynamic society that blends cultural,
economic sides with retaining the best of its multicultural
heritage and time-honored traditions of hospitality.
